Job Title: Part-Time Account Manager
Pay: 100% commission: New accounts + residuals
Status: Part-time
Job Description:
Account manager will pursue and schedule opportunities for professional
entertainers through leads given by the company and leads developed on one’s
own. Quote and negotiate contract terms, including
hours of performances, fees, special needs of the customer and the entertainer.
Some paperwork. 90% telephone contact/ 10% outside sales. Assemble and mail
promotional packages as needed. Direct inquiries to company website. Intensive
follow-up with potential customers and to current customers. Continual contact with supervisor.
Job may be done from
employees home but fax, internet and email is REQUIRED as well as Microsoft
Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
Required Experience:
Proven track record in commission-based telephone sales. Professional
appearance. Excellent use of English language and grammar. Strong written and
verbal communication skills a must. Comfortable with Microsoft Word, Access,
Outlook and Internet Explorer. No history of dishonesty, no criminal record of
any kind. Friendly, outgoing personality, but firm – willingness to ask for the
booking.
Preferred Experience:
Some background in the entertainment industry (played in bands, worked with
or in the hospitality or senior care industry.) Previous work in hospitality
industry helpful.
